What pipe sizes can the M-Ring accommodate?
Two ring variants cover the most common larger municipal pipes: DN400 and DN600 mm. Custom diameters (DN200, DN300, DN800+) are available for OEM batches ≥ 50 units.
Which parameters are measured—and how accurate are they?
In a single installation the ring delivers:
• Flow-rate (±3 % of reading) via ultrasound measurement
• Level/depth (±5 mm) using radar
• Conductivity/salinity (±2 % FS)
• Temperature (±0.2 °C).
Is installation disruptive to the sewer network?
No. The split ring slides through an open manhole and clamps around the pipe in < 10 minutes—no drilling, cutting or flow stoppage
How is the device powered?
Standard 12–24 V DC via the interface box. Where mains is unavailable, a 3-year lithium battery pack or solar/battery hybrid kit can be supplied. The system is designed for low power use.
What communication options do you support?
On-board RS-485 (Modbus RTU) is standard. Clip-on converters allow Modbus-TCP, LoRaWAN or NB-IoT for long-range wireless back-haul.
Can the ring be redeployed to another site?
Yes. Loosen two latches, slide it off, rinse, and reinstall elsewhere; the elastomer seals are rated for 200 re-clamp cycles.
How often does it need cleaning or calibration?
A quarterly hose-down is usually enough. Calibration is factory-set and verified annually.
Can OEMs integrate the sensing core into their own Solutions?
