Parkinson Buddy ready for sale

corrects posture and keeps you moving

The Parkinson Buddy is a small wearable device that gives Parkinson patients a warning signal when their posture is excessively bend forward. Furthermore it contains a metronome that has been proven to reduce freezes and keep going more easily. This has been researched and published by the VU medical centre in Amsterdam. The patient can select to use audio and/or vibro feedback. Optionally there is the possibility for the care provider to store posture and activity information over time to spot changes over time or get a better idea of the amount of physical activity a Parkinson patient undertakes.  The Parkinson Buddy can be worn underneath or outside normal day to day clothes and is powered by rechargeable batteries.
