2M offers hi-tech sport solutions to equip athletes or running tracks with the most innovative technologies in the areas of sensors, actuators, and intelligent LED lighting.

2M Engineering adopted the 80 meter sprint and jump track at Sport Centre Eindhoven Noord (SCEN) to develop Hi-tech Sports equipment. The primary goal was to develop and demonstrate new applications and technologies to improve the integration of sports with advanced technology. The product, Hi-tech Sports is applicable to most track sports from sprinting, hurdling, long and high jumps. Hi-tech Sport can be used to improve an athlete’s form by clearly illustrating and breaking down the areas that need improvement. The product is also a highly useful research device enabling researchers to take a closer look at a body in motion.

2M Engineering can equip a track of up to 80 meters to with the most modern and innovative technologies in the areas of sensors, actuators, and intelligent LED illumination. These devices are used to generate accurate measurements of athletes in action. Hi-tech sport does this by monitoring the body’s movement and then relaying this information in a readable report.  This will be controlled by a generic, easy to adapt and use, software application. The process results in a flexible platform, which can be used for demonstrations, improving an athletes form and further application research.
