Henk Dijkstra – Specialist firmware developer
Henk graduated from the University of Twente in 1981, with a M.Sc in Electronic Engineering. He has spent 26 years working for Philips, 3 years working for NXP Semiconductors and 1 year working for Trident Microsystems. During this time he was responsible for research in the field of computer science and for the development of embedded software for TV related products. Henk joined 2M Engineering in 2011. He is responsible for developing firmware.
Jason Ryan – Bio-Medical Engineer
Jason graduated with an M.Sc in Biomedical Engineering (2010) and a B.Sc in Product Design and Technology (2009) from the University of Limerick. During his studies and after he graduated, Jason spent two years working with Creganna medical devices as a design engineer. He was responsible for drawing packages for device design and manufacture, operator support, product builds along with other design and development activies. He joined 2M Engineering in 2011. He is responsible for mechanical and biomedical design and development activities.
Koen Fiers - Electronic Assistant
Koen Fiers has been with 2M Engineering for four years throughout his studies. In March of 2011 Koen graduated from his studies in Industrial and Electronic Productions and Systems from ROC Eindhoven. Koen responsibilities at 2M Engineering include purchasing, logistics and assembling electronic components.
Liadain Murphy – Product Manager
Liadain graduated with an M.Sc in Marketing, Consumption and Society (2010) and a B.Sc in Product Design and Technology (2009) from the University of Limerick. During this time she spent nine months working as the customer relations co-ordinator at Hi-Life Tools and six months in a direct sales role. Liadain joined 2M Engineering after graduating, on an internship and has been with us ever since. She is responsible for product management, marketing communications and research and development.
Maikal Verhoeven – Electronic Assistant
Maikal is studying Industrial and Electronic Productions and Systems in ROC Eindhoven. He joined 2M Engineering one year ago. He is responsible for assembling electronic components and building prototypes.
Marian Hall - Industrial and Technology Engineer
Marian graduated with a B.Sc in Product Design and Technology in 2009 from the University of Limerick. During this time she spent nine months working as a design intern in Marco Beverages Systems Limited. Marian has also completed a Diploma in Administration and Office Skills. Marian joined 2M Engineering shortly after graduating on an internship and has been with us ever since. She is responsible for designing, prototype building and testing new products being developed by 2M.
Michal Gadaj - Electronic Engineer
Michal Gadaj graduated in 2007 with an M.Sc.in Electronic Engineering from the Technical University of Gdansk. After graduating Michal spent 2 years working as an electronic engineer for the Wireless Communication Engineering Research Group, WiComm in Gdansk, Poland. During this time Michal was responsible for the hard and software development of several highly innovative projects. Michal joined 2M Engineering in December 2009. Michal’s work in 2M Engineering extends from technical research to product development particularly on healthcare and industry projects.
Thomas O Brien - Biochemist
Thomas initially came to 2M Engineering as part of his degree program.Thomas went on to complete a research project with 2M Engineering as part of his final year studies. In August 2011 Thomas graduated with a B.Sc in Biochemistry from the University of Limerick. He is responsible for for the chemical and biochemical aspects of projects currently being run in-house, including the non-invasive optical glucose monitoring project.
